The Village of Yates City contracts with G&O waste management company for solid waste collection. Everyone within the city limits is required to have garbage collection.
Most trash and debris, when bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of at the curbside in the large Red Tote/Cans provided to the homeowner. Garbage Pickup is Every Tuesday of the week. The Village of Yates City is proud to offer our community with the option of RECYCLING. A large recycling dumpster is located in the public works equipment building lot for your convenience. NOTE: This is only available for village of Yates City residents ONLY!!!
The Village of Yates City also partners with SALEM Township to offer a saturday Dumster Day twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. Please check back for the date annoucement.
