Meter Reading

We are preparing to make changes to our water metering system in the near future. In the next several months, the Village of Yates City will be replacing our current water meters with radio read remote meters.

The meter change-out process will involve removing the current meter and replacing it with a new electronic meter. The current required wiring and exterior wall reader will no longer be needed.

Installation of the new meters will be done by a state of illinois licensed plumber at no charge to you.

We will contact you soon to set up a time to replace your meter that works well for you and us.
